Portable Turbidity Meter
Digital measurement solution for field sampling, plant rounds, commissioning, treatment-service work and environmental surveys.

Turbidity is the cloudiness or haziness of water caused by large numbers of individual particles that are generally invisible to the naked eye. Traditionally samples are taken and the actual turbidity assessment is performed visually by lab personnel or with a multitude of bench-top style turbidity meters. But our ultraportable turbidity meter can measure readings on site and provide a more representative assessment of the actual process conditions. Turbidity is one of the critical parameters observed while evaluating water quality. There are guidelines and standards provided by international institutions for turbidity of water.

Typical applications
This product is suitable for field sampling, plant rounds, commissioning, treatment-service work and environmental surveys. Confirm sample compatibility, expected measuring range, calibration standards and sensor requirements before final selection.
Before ordering
Check which electrodes, probes, standard solutions, cables, holders, stirrers, software or mounting accessories are included and which are optional.
Use the instrument as part of a controlled measurement process.
Calibrate
Use suitable fresh standard solutions and follow the calibration steps in the model manual.
Prepare the sensor
Inspect, rinse and condition the electrode or sensor. Remove bubbles and deposits that may affect response.
Measure and record
Allow a stable reading, note sample temperature and document calibration and instrument identification.
